    Biophysics, polymer chemistry, circular dichroism spectroscopy, synchrotron radiation science, chiral advanced technique, development of experimental instruments etc.

    [Job description]
    Successful candidate will elucidate the structures and functions of biopolymers such as proteins, polysaccharides, and nucleic acids by using polarization spectroscopy such as circular dichroism and linear dichroism with synchrotron radiation, while developing new spectroscopic measurement methods such as time resolution and imaging, and data analysis methods using AI and molecular dynamics, etc. In addition, successful candidate will promote the fusion research areas of regenerative medicine, cell medicine, and drug discovery in the “Program for Forming Japan's Peak Research Universities(J-PEAKS)” of Hiroshima University, and will also support users at the Joint Usage/Research Center.

    [Teaching responsibilities]
    (1) Graduate level (master’s programs): Special Exercise in Physics A, B, etc.
    (2) In addition to the courses listed above, he or she may be asked to teach other general education courses and/or discipline specific courses in other department(s) and graduate school(s).
