Job description
Background of the recruitment and description of the project
The Department of Sociology is primarily focused on developing a curriculum that critically examines the distortions and tensions threatening human dignity in the context of globalization. In line with its Diploma Policy, the Department is creating a distinctive program aimed at cultivating students who can analyze and understand various global phenomena, and who can think critically and propose solutions for coexistence with diverse others. This position is intended for a candidate who can teach foundational courses in sociology, including theory and methods, as well as courses related to the SPSF (English-language program).

Undergraduate and graduate-level courses in sociology (lectures, seminars, research supervision, etc.) and general education courses offered university-wide, including courses taught in English

Application Screening and Interview. Shortlisted candidates will be notified and invited for an interview at Sophia University. Travel expenses for the interview are the applicant’s responsibility.
