Job description

  • Background of the recruitment and description of the project

    Center for Social Data Structuring developes methodologies for organizing social survey data, officila micro-data and social big data to promote empirical study to solve various social problems by providing it for a wide range of uses. The goal is to develop a research foundation for realizing policy-making based on emprical data.

  • Work content and job description

    Under the “K Program” of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) for Economic Security Critical Technology, we are recruiting a Project Researcher for the following work related to the research project "Systematization and Efficient Implementation of SDC Technologies Based on Functional Cryptography for Integration of Large-Scale Distributed Data" (Principal Investigator: Kazuhiro Minami):
    (1) Theoretical and empirical research on privacy protection techniques in the field of Statistical Disclosure Control (SDC)
    (2) Development of new techniques for anonymization and statistical disclosure control

    Overtime and other explanations : Discretionary labor system, based on 7 hours 45 minutes/day (e.g., 9:00–17:30 with a 45-minute break)

    (1) Ph.D. holder or equivalent experience
    (2) Experience in academic research at a university or private company (typically 5+ years after bachelor’s or 3+ years after master’s)
    (3) Preferably with multiple publications and conference presentations
