Job description

  • Background of the recruitment and description of the project

    Our school's philosophy of research and education is to contribute to the development of society and to create a knowledge-based society for the next generation. By creating and adopting the principles of information science, we aim to train engineers who have a broad and deep knowledge of this field, as well as an international sense. In this way we will cultivate highly creative scientists who independently carry out significant research and development.

  • Work content and job description

    Duties in education and fields:
    (Immediately after hiring) Lectures, seminar, experiments, and exercise courses related to computer science and information technology (see Appendix 1). Administrative tasks of the faculty, graduate school, and undergraduate school.
    (Scope of change) Duties as determined by the University.

    1.The successful applicant will partly or fully give the lectures listed below, for which the Laboratory of Autonomous Systems Engineering is responsible.
    (1)Subjects in the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology:
    Autonomous Systems Engineering, Laboratory seminar, and others
    (2)Subjects in the School of Engineering:
    Artificial Life and Evolutionary Computation, Computer Programming II, Experiment in Computer Science and Information Technology I, Exercise in Technical English, and others.
    (3)Subjects in the general education: Statistics, The World of Science and Technology and others.

    2.The Laboratory of Autonomous Systems Engineering provides education and research in a wide range of information technologies related to the understanding of biological intelligence and the design and implementation of systems that can be implemented in society, based on the technologies of artificial intelligence and artificial life. Specifically, the research and development of machine learning methods such as deep learning, combinatorial optimization, and other information technologies applied to various fields is covered. The research and development of flexible and robust autonomous distributed systems, such as multi-agent systems inspired by swarm intelligence.
