  Having any experiences of working in a Japanese university or institute and contributing to any international exchanges through classes, seminars and study tours (except teaching assistant).

• Description

  (1) Meeting the criteria for selecting Associate Professor in Yamagata University Tsuruoka campus. The criteria is avaliable at our website (https://www.tr.yamagata-u.ac.jp/pdf/kyouin-senkoukijun.pdf).
  (2) Holding doctoral degree or can obtain it until the appointment.
  (3) High proficiency in English language enough for lectures, seminars on English communication and scientfic writing, and research guidance.
  (4) Having any experiences of working in a Japanese university or institute and contributing to any international exchanges through classes, seminars and study tours (except teaching assistant).
  (5) Japanese language proficiency enough for daily life.
  (6) Those who are expected to strengthen the collaboration of our faculty with foreign universities in food, life and environmental sciences.

Selection / Notification of result

• Selection

  (1)First screening: Document screening.
  (2)Second screening: Face-to-face or online interviews with the successful candidates during the first screening. The candidate for the second screening will be contacted individually via email. The candidate may be asked to make the presentation and a mock lecture with the interview. The applicants will be responsible for the transportation expenses for attending the interview.
