Job description
Background of the recruitment and description of the project
Institute for Materials Chemistry and Engineering (IMCE), Kyushu University, is seeking researchers with proventrack records in nanoscale materials science, molecular materials chemistry, computational materials science,materials informatics, and/or related academic fi elds who are committed to research that contributes to theestablishment of new scientifi c theories/principles and creation of innovative materials, and who are also eagerto engage in collaborative research and interdisciplinary research with researchers both in Japan and abroad.
Work content and job description
Research: Depending on the successful candidate's main research fi eld, IMCE will establish a new researchlaboratory in either of the following departments at the Institute's Chikushi site: Division of IntegratedMaterials, Division of Advanced Device Materials, or Division of Applied Molecular Chemistry, where thecandidate can conduct research activities.
Education: As a collaborating faculty member at the Kyushu University Interdisciplinary Graduate School ofEngineering Sciences, Department of Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering (Chemistry and MaterialsEngineering major or Materials Engineering major), they will be responsible for educating students andproviding research guidance.
