  Tokyo International University:
  Tokyo International University (TIU) offers undergraduate and graduate programs both in Japanese and English. The English track degree program, taught entirely in English, attracts students from Japan as well as from around the world. The curriculum of the E-Track Program enables students to cultivate a broad educational background and deepen their knowledge in three specialized programs of Digital Business & Innovation, Business Economics, and International Relations.   Content of work including Teaching:
  The teaching will be for undergraduate students, involving the preliminary, basic, and advanced materials. The primal teaching responsibility of this position is for Data Science & AI program, but the related teaching for the Digital Business & Innovation Program will be assigned if necessary.
  TIU operates on a semester basis and each course lesson is held twice per week over the duration of 13 weeks per semester (each lesson lasts for 105 minutes); the successful candidate will be in charge of three courses per semester. The classes will take place on both Kawagoe Campus in Saitama and Ikebukuro Campus in Tokyo. It takes about an hour to move between the two campuses. The individual research office space will be assigned on Kawagoe Campus. Spring semester is from April to July, and Fall semester is from September to January.
  Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Japanese would be an asset. Responsibilities include advising and working with students from diverse backgrounds as well as undertaking quality research.

  The National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ) has been playing a key role in the forefront of astronomical research worldwide, as demonstrated in the construction and operation of large-scale astronomical facilities as well as in the development of space-based instruments, in the effort to promote cutting-edge astronomy utilizing these advanced telescopes. Mizusawa VLBI Observatory (hereafter the Observatory) of the NAOJ has played a key role in advancing radio astronomy through VLBI arrays. During the current mid-term period (2022–2028), the Observatory is actively engaged in the operation of the East Asian VLBI Network (EAVN) and related VLBI facilities, while also conducting cutting-edge VLBI research and development such as Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) and Black Hole Explorer (BHEX) in collaboration with the domestic and international astronomical communities. Looking toward the era of next-generation international large-scale interferometers such as the Square Kilometre Array Observatory (SKAO) and next-generation Very Large Array (ngVLA), the Observatory is formulating a strategic vision to advance global VLBI through international collaboration. At present and for the foreseeable future, the Observatory’s focus is the activities on SKAO’s Assembly, Integration and Verification (AIV), with aims not only to directly contribute to the SKA project but also to build capacity for future participation in international large-scale radio astronomy projects such as the ngVLA and other future international projects. Together with the SKA1 Promotion Group, established as a sub-project within the Observatory, the Observatory is committed to fostering the next generation of researchers who, through their experience in SKAO-related activities, will go on to take leading roles in advancing both NAOJ-wide initiatives and major international projects.

  The job description of the successful candidate is expected as follows, though details are subject to the candidate’s experience and expertise:1) Direct contribution to future large-scale projects (approximately 50%, for the time being)
  In the coming years, the successful candidate will be responsible for making direct international contributions to SKAO’s AIV activities. In the near term, this will involve extended stays at SKAO construction and operations sites, demonstrating Japan's presence and contributing to the project. The candidate will also be expected to coordinate international activities related to AIV and, potentially, the SKA Regional Centre Network (SRCNet), as well as support liaison activities with the SKAO Headquarters, working closely with the Lead of the SKA1 Promotion Group. Over the longer term, the successful candidate may be asked to contribute to other major international astronomy projects.
  2) Individual research based on long-wavelength radio observations (approximately 35%)
  The candidate will conduct cutting-edge research based on their own research interest by utilizing facilities related to the Observatory including future large-scale radio interferometers such as SKAO and its precursor and pathfinder instruments. This may include theoretical studies based on observational data. Experience with, or aspirations to contribute to, future VLBI initiatives including SKA -VLBI, Global -VLBI, Space -VLBI, and ngVLA -LBA would be an advantage.
  3) Contributions to the Observatory, NAOJ, and SOKENDAI (approximately 15%)
  The successful candidate will contribute to the Observatory and the entire NAOJ through committee works and public outreach activities, and also contribute to graduate school education at SOKENDAI via lectures and supervising graduate students.

  食品需給研究センターでは、食料の生産（農業・漁業）・加工・流通・消費を含む食料システムを主なフィールドとして、農林水産省をはじめとする政府機関・研究機関・自治体・民間団体等から委託や補助を受け、調査研究事業や、解決策の社会実装を支援する事業を行っています。
  このたび研究員を募集します。なお採用時期は、1名を2026年10月ごろ、もう１名を2027年4月ごろと計画しています。

• 仕事内容・職務内容

  (1) 研究員（調査・分析系）
  政府機関など委託元が提示する課題・目的を理解し、適切な方法を具体的に提案し、クライアント担当者と協議しながら、調査・分析を実行し、得られた成果を検証し、報告書等の成果品としてまとめます。
  調査の方法は、国内外の法令・統計・文献の収集・整理、食料の生産・加工・流通に関わる事業者へのヒアリングや調査票を用いた情報収集・分析、消費者・国民を対象とするアンケートなど、テーマによりさまざまです。調査結果そのものが成果品となる場合もありますが、調査結果に基づいて今後のありうる施策・システム・業界向けガイドライン等を検討・提案する場合もあります。
  経験やスキルに応じて、先輩研究員のサポートのもとで業務を進め、初期段階では既存プロジェクトの一部業務（調査補助、分析補助、資料作成等）から関わり、将来は事業の企画・提案から成果品のとりまとめまでの一連のプロセスを担うことを目指します。
  
  (2) 研究員（地域産業コンサルティング系）
  食料システムをめぐる環境変化や政府の施策との調和を図りながら、地域の農業・食品産業・観光などの分野で、課題分析・企画立案・商品化/事業化支援を行います。
  企画書・プレゼン資料の作成や、関係者との調整、会議運営、相談対応、説明会やワークショップの開催、ファシリテーションを実施します。
  経験やスキルに応じて、先輩研究員のサポートのもとで業務を進め、初期段階では既存プロジェクトの一部業務（会議などイベントの開催事務、関係者との連絡調整、相談内容の整理・分析、資料作成等）から関わり、将来は事業の企画・提案、協力関係づくり、事業化支援、効果検証まで、プロジェクトのマネジメントを担うことを目指します。
