Job description
Background of the recruitment and description of the project
The Department of Mechanical Engineering consists of eight core courses in mechanical engineering: mechanics of materials, fluid engineering, thermal engineering, combustion science, mechanical systems, control systems, machining processes, and design engineering. The Biomedical Engineering Division consists of the Department of Biomedical Thermal Engineering.
The Biomedical Engineering Division is composed of the Research Groups of Bio-Thermal Engineering, Bio-Functional Engineering, Fluid Medical Engineering, and Advanced Medical Devices.
This position is for an associate professor in the field of bio-thermal engineering who will be in charge of teaching and research on bioengineering of cells and tissues and bio-thermal engineering related to heat transfer. The aim of this department is to conduct basic research on bioengineering from the viewpoint of heat transfer and to apply it to medical-engineering technologies, such as new methods of treatment and detection of diseases.
