Recruitment of Assistant Professor (Department of Applied Physics, Faculty of Science, Fukuoka University)
[Specialized field] Research filed in the semiconductor physics, especially in the material science for advanced functional semiconductor devices and the characterization of surface and interface properties
Work content and job description
1. Performing research in the aforementioned topic of specialization in collaboration with Assoc. Prof. Ohta in Surface and Interface Science Laboratory of the Department of Applied Physics.
2. Supporting the research guidance of undergraduate and graduate students in Surface and Interface Science Laboratory of the Department of Applied Physics.
3. Teaching basic physics to undergraduate students in Department of Applied Physics and other departments in collaboration with other faculty members.
4. Performing works that is associated with the events in the Faculty of Science and the Department of Applied Physics.

Working hours :08:50-17:50

Regardless of the aforementioned terms, the selected candidate will be required to work on holidays if classes or University events, such as entrance examinations, are held on holidays.

Description
1. The candidate must hold a doctoral or Ph. D degree.
2. The candidate should be active in cooperating with other faculty members in education, research, and other works.
3. The candidate with any research experience will be considered for selection. However, the candidate should be motivated and enthusiastic about research in the aforementioned topic of specialization.
4. The selected candidate will be required to teach undergraduate students in Japanese. Therefore, candidates are required to be proficient in Japanese.
