    Tutors will help students with anything to do with English, from conversation, grammar, reading, TOEIC, to helping graduate students with abstracts and overseas conference papers.

    We are looking for an English tutor who is cheerful, reliable and pro-active. Student contact time will mainly be one-on-one in our English Learning Support Center, but you will also be required to do activities around the university. In addition, the tutors shall be responsible for such other duties as may be assigned by the Director of this Center.

    The available days are Monday, Wednesday, during semester time only (April~July and September~January).
    You can apply both/either of those days.

    Bachelor

    The minimum requirement for this position is a bachelor degree.

  • Work experience

    We would ideally like applicants to have English skill test like TOEIC expertise.
    You must be a native-level English speaker and able to communicate in Japanese too.
    Preferably have either graduated from engineering department, experience working in companies expertise in those field, and/or experience in travel-related work abroad (e.g., cabin crew, hotel receptionist, etc.).

    Nippon Institute of Technology is a technical university. The English Learning Support Center is the center of English communication education at our university where students can come and further their English skills. The students' English levels range from low-beginner to advanced. We offer a variety of programs to help students develop the awareness and ability to face cross-cultural and multicultural environments. The goal of our program is to develop communication and cross-cultural understanding skills in order to create knowledgeable engineers who can perform in the global workplace.
