  Iwate University started Faculty of Science and Engineering (undergraduate program) from 2016 by reorganizing Faculty of Engineering, its master's program at Graduate School of Arts and Sciences from 2017, and its doctral program at Graduate School of Science and Engineering from 2019. The former Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering, Iwate University was one of the earliest departments for computer science in Tohoku region. The former Computer Science Course, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science that inherited its history was reorganized to Computer, Intelligence and Media Technology Course. The important educational and research fields in our course include artificial intelligence, theory of machine learning, and their applications. We are looking for human resources who can lead research and education in these fields.
