  We invite applications to appoint one leading scholar in Media Studies, Communication Studies and Sociology. The post will commence on 1 April 2025.
  
  The Division of Civil Society and Citizenship Studies, the recruiting division, was established in 2018, by reorganizing the Division of Social Sciences (We form the Department of Social Studies together with the Division of History and Geography). We particularly aim to promote our students' skills and qualities so as to participate in “civil society" as a “citizen" – those two are our key ideas - in order to make our society better. We do so by urging them to develop their perspective while studying various fields in social sciences. The field of Media and Journalism constitutes one of four key fields in the Division.
