  • Work content and job description

    This field conducts education and research on agricultural and forestry economics and sociology for sustainable resource management and food security. This position will be responsible for education and research on social sciences that examine the needs of society and conduct the evidence-based analyses for our sustainable resource management and food security.

    After being hired, as a faculty member of the University of Tsukuba's Institute of Life and Environmental Sciences, you will be responsible for the following tasks related to research, education, and assistance for organizational management.
    (1) You will promote education and research in the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences at University of Tsukuba from the viewpoint of agricultural and forestry economics or sociology. You will also support the management tasks for faculty.
    (2) You will teach the following courses.
    i) Educational Programs in Agro-Biological Resource Sciences (Undergraduate Program):
    Introductory Seminar for Agricultural and Forest Policy, Seminar in Social Research A, B
    ii) Degree Program in Agro-Bioresources Science and Technology (Master’s Program):
    Seminar in Agricultural Economics and Sociology IS, IF, IIS, IIF, Research in Agricultural Economics and Sociology IS, IF, IIS, IIF
