The successful candidate will be required to carry out, in collaboration with Prof. Hiroshi Kimura, research on the regulation of gene expression and epigenetics.
The successful candidate will teach and instruct undergraduate and graduate students at the School of Life Science and Technology.
The successful candidate will conduct administrative operations related to the lab, the Cell Biology Center, the Institute of Innovative Research, and the School of Life Science and Technology.

Annual Salary : 4 million yen ~ 6 million yen
The successful candidate will be paid under the “Annual Salary System with Lump-Sum Retirement Allowance” pursuant to the Institute’s Regulations on Wage and Salary for Staff under Annual Salary System with Lump-Sum Retirement Allowance.
In accordance with the regulations, the amount of annual salary will be determined based on the standard level for the first fiscal year of employment, and will be based on performance evaluations in subsequent years. A retirement allowance will be paid separately at the time of retirement.

Standard: JPY 5,000,000
Minimum*: JPY 4,800,000

Qualifications
Education and Degree Requirements
Ph.D. / Doctor
holds a PhD or is nearing completion of a PhD at the time of employment.
Work experience
has achievements in the fields of Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or Biophysics. It is desirable to have substantial experience in at least one of the following analytical methods:
- Analysis using mice
- Analysis using zebrafish
- Theoretical modeling or biophysical analyses
- Image analysis
- Informatics analysis of the epigenome and/or transcriptome
