The successful candidate should have achievements in one of the following research fields related to novel nanoscale semiconductors (inorganic, organic, metallic materials) or nanodevices: materials science, organic synthesis, electronic engineering, solid-state physics, or solid-state chemistry.
The successful candidate will be required to conduct the research described in ‘Area of Specialization’.
The successful candidate will join a research group focused on nanoscale semiconductor materials and their nanodevices.
The successful candidate will supervise undergraduate and graduate students for their research.
The successful candidate will be required to engage in the education at Graduate Major in Materials Science and Engineering, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Materials and Chemical Technology.
The successful candidate will give classes, exercises, and experiments for undergraduate and graduate students.

Annual Salary : 5 million yen ~ 6 million yen
The successful candidate will be paid under the “Annual Salary System with Lump-Sum Retirement Allowance” pursuant to the Institute’s Regulations on Wage and Salary for Staff under Annual Salary System with Lump-Sum Retirement Allowance. In accordance with the regulations, the amount of annual salary will be determined based on the standard level for the first fiscal year of employment, and will be based on performance evaluations in subsequent years. A retirement allowance will be paid separately at the time of retirement.
