Candidates should:
(1) be a native speaker of English or of an equivalent ability level,
(2) have a postgraduate degree (at least a Master’s degree, but preferably a doctorate degree or equivalent academic qualification),
(3) be able to participate in discussions in Japanese, as well as have a sufficient reading and writing ability to work with official documents in Japanese.
Work experience
Candidates should have at least one year’s university teaching experience as of the expected date of employment.
Official qualification in specific field, etc.
Candidates should have at least Japanese Proficiency Test level “N2” (preferably “N1”) certification.

(3) Copies of three major books or articles, and summaries of them in both English (about 300 words) and Japanese (about 400 characters) on A4 paper.
(4) An outline of research achievements so far and future research plans (about 800 words in English and about 1,200 characters in Japanese) on A4 paper.

Selection
After screening of documents, interview (in person) is conducted in both Japanese and English. Applicants who pass the document review will be notified individually on the interview procedure. The scheduled date is Saturday, 15 June, 2024. The interview is to be conducted on campus. The candidate is to bear any transportation costs. (The hired person should be able to commute to the university starting from the 1st of April, 2025.)
