Job description

  • Background of the recruitment and description of the project

    Role of the Information Management Division:
    • Serve as a think-tank for international education by collecting, organizing, and analyzing information on international education trends both on and off campus.
    • Centralize and manage information on existing programs and various types of support on campus.
    • Provide strategic recommendations to the Global Strategies Office.
    • Contribute to the construction of a databank for students, faculty, and staff to access diverse information in a one-stop manner.
    • Disseminate information to external entities, including other domestic universities, local governments, and companies.
    • Monitor the implementation of the international strategy formulated by the Global Strategies Office and ensure educational activities align with this strategy.

  • Work content and job description

    • Monitor and evaluate international education programs and projects.
    • Develop, implement, and improve recommendations for the university's international education strategy.
    • Oversee the development of partnerships that promote internationalization of education and cross-cultural understanding.
    • Gather and analyze the latest trends, policies, and regulations in education.
    • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Provide proposals to the Global Strategies Office based on the current status of international education in Japan and overseas.
    • Process, organize, and analyze relevant information obtained from all divisions of the Center.
    • Perform other duties as directed by the Director of the Center.

Wages

  • Annual Salary : 7 million yen ~ 11 million yen

    Annual salary system (introduced on April 1, 2020). The amount will be determined based on experience and regulations.

Working hours

  • Working hours :08:30-17:15

    Break time :12:00-13:00

    Overtime and other explanations : 7 hours and 45 minutes per day under the Discretionary Labor System for Professional Services. Rest periods are 45 minutes for workdays exceeding 6 hours, and 1 hour for workdays exceeding 7 hours and 45 minutes. Holiday work may occur.

  • Work experience

    Eligibility Requirements;
    • Doctorate degree/Ph.D. or equivalent experience in research, information analysis, project management, coordination, and negotiation.
    • Practical experience in international exchange and project management with proven coordination and negotiation skills.
    • Track record in education and research related to international education, intercultural education, international student education, or similar fields.
    • Proficiency in Japanese and English to perform the above duties effectively.
