The Department of Chemical Science and Engineering, School of Materials and Chemical Technology, Tokyo Institute of Technology (Ookayama Campus) invites applications for the position of Associate Professor in charge of research and educational activities in the field of organic chemistry in a broad sense, such as synthetic organic chemistry, physical organic chemistry, organometallic chemistry, bioorganic chemistry etc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for lectures, exercises, and experiments for undergraduate and graduate courses in fields related to organic chemistry in the broadest sense (with lectures in English), supervising the research of laboratory students, and conducting leading research, and will also be responsible for the administration of the Department of Chemical Science and Engineering, School of Materials and Chemical Technology.
