Qualifications

  Ph.D. / Doctor

• Description

  (1) must have a doctorate degree or an equivalent research achievement.
  (2) must have a sufficient level of Japanese language proficiency to conduct classes and participate in daily administrative duties of faculty members.
  (3) must understand the academic policies of Tokyo Gakugei University and be willing to get involved in related duties.
  (4) must have research and/or educational achievement required to teach classes in teacher training courses.
  (5) are expected to have both teacher’s certificate for elementary school and Japanese teacher's certificate for junior/senior high school.
  (6) are expected to have teaching experiences at elementary or secondary school.

  Five years from the start of the employment. (Until March 31, 2030)
  If the tenure is not granted, maximum of three years may be added to the period of employment in order to provide preparation time for transfer.

  (1) Selection will be conducted in accordance with the selection rules of Tokyo Gakugei University.
