Job description
Background of the recruitment and description of the project
Department of Applied Chemistry is made up of 12 laboratories across two major courses: 1) Functional Materials Chemistry and 2) Chemistry and Biochemistry.
The professor we are recruiting this time will belong to the 4th laboratory, which forms the core of the Molecular Biotechnology Course, and will be in charge of education and research that will contribute to molecular systems science, which tackles everything from advanced systematization of organic molecules to solving energy problems and developing biotechnology, primarily based on molecular assemblage chemistry. He/She will also be responsible for promoting academic exchange with universities both in Japan and overseas.

Annual Salary : 9 million yen ~
The annual salary system, which was introduced on 1st of April 2020, will be applied. The annual salary is determined in
accordance with the university's pay scale based on experience, etc.

Ph.D. / Doctor
Description
(1)Doctoral or Ph.D. degree.
(2)Have sufficient teaching ability (including instruction and lectures in English) and enthusiasm and ability to take charge of the administration of the undergraduate and graduate doctoral programs.
(3)Have particularly outstanding leading research achievements in the above-mentioned specialized fields.
(4)The applicant should have the willingness and ability to actively engage in interdisciplinary research with other areas of specialization and the development of new research fields from a long-term perspective, in addition to the above-mentioned areas of specialization.
(5)Have the ability and enthusiasm to actively develop education and research activities from an international perspective and social cooperation with industry, government, etc.
