Job description
Background of the recruitment and description of the project
1) Research in the Faculty of Languages and Cultures.
2) Teaching normally five 90-minute EFL (English as a Foreign Language) classes per week per semester. primarily to undergraduate students (teaching a total of 10 classes per year).
3) Curriculum development, and teaching materials development.
4) Maintaining regular office hours, providing editorial assistance, and assisting with other departmental matters, including entrance exams.
5) Possibly teaching at a related graduate or undergraduate school, mentoring students thereof, in the future.

Education and Degree Requirements
Ph.D. / Doctor
PhD or equivalent research record in a relevant field (ABD candidates are also eligible), including PhD’s to be awarded prior to April 2025.
Work experience
Previous experience of teaching English at the university level.
Official qualification in specific field, etc.
1) Ability to teach Academic Writing.
2) Native or working level of proficiency in Japanese is an advantage; however, it is not a requirement.
3) At least three refereed papers or book chapters.
4) Skills related to DX (Digital Transformation).
