Job description

  • Background of the recruitment and description of the project

    Plasma Research Center promotes research on plasma confinement, heating, advanced diagnostics, divertor simulation, plasma-wall interaction and so on by using tandem mirror GAMMA 10/PDX and superconducting mirror Pilot GAMMA PDX-SC with a plasma group in Department of Physics of Institute of Pure and Applied Sciences.

  • Work content and job description

    We are looking for candidates who have achievement in the field of plasma and fusion research, and have strong motivation to run the center and to promote projects undertaken at Plasma Research Center. In addition, they should be also motivated to educate students in College of Physics of School of Science and Engineering, and Doctoral and Master’s Programs in Physics.

    Holidays : Every Saturday and Sunday, National holidays, New Year's holiday season (12/29-1/3)

    Overtime and other explanations : Working hours: 7 hours 45 minutes per day, 5 days per week, 38 hours 45 minutes per week. Based on agreement, either discretionary labor system for professional work (the working hours for a day are deemed as 7 hours 45 minutes) or fixed working hours system (including variable working hours system) will be applied.
