We are looking for researchers who are willing to cooperate with Professor Takashi Koretsune in promoting research of Group B01 "Fundamental Theory and Design of Asymmetric Quantum Matters" in the Grant-in-Aid for Transformative Research Areas (A) "Visualization, Design, and Creation of Quantum Materials Colored by Asymmetry" [Area Representative: Takahiro Onimaru (Hiroshima University)]. In this project, we will develop a fundamental theory of asymmetric quantum matters and carry out materials design based on computational materials science. Expertise in any of the following is desirable.
・Theory of solid state physics
・Quantum many-body theory
・First-principles calculations
・Materials design
・Methods of data science
Three research positions are available in research group B01 (two at Tohoku University and one at Tokyo Metropolitan University). If you wish to apply for more than one position, please contact one of the host researchers in advance. See separate pages for details of each position.
