  • Background of the recruitment and description of the project

    Our school's philosophy of research and education is to contribute to the development of society and to create a knowledge-based society for the next generation. By creating and adopting the principles of information science, we aim to train engineers who have a broad and deep knowledge of this field, as well as an international sense. In this way we will cultivate highly creative scientists who independently carry out significant research and development.

  • Work content and job description

    Research Field and Responsibilities
    (Just after hiring) Division of Media and Network Technologies consists of two groups: Research Group of Information Media Science and Technology, and Research Group of Information Communication Systems. The aim of this laboratory is to conduct research and education related to the synthesis and expression of three-dimensional media information and their applications. The research area covered by this laboratory includes, but is not limited to, computer graphics, visual simulation, physically-based graphics, and graphics for extended reality/metaverse, geometry processing, digital fabrication, entertainment applications of CG, visual psychology, cognitive models, integration technology of vision and graphics, content processing, and CG applications of deep learning.
    (Scope of change) Duties as determined by the University.

    Lectures and Work in Charge
    The successful applicant will partly or fully give the lectures listed below.
    (1) “Computer Graphics,” “Media Creation Methodology,” “Advanced Exercise in Media and Network Technologies,” and “Advanced Study in Media and Network Technologies” in Course of Media and Network Technologies, Graduate School of Information Science and Technology
    (2) “Media Processing System,” “Media Programming,” “Computer Graphics,” “Cyber Communication,” “Exercise in Media Network I/II,” “Media Network Laboratory IA/IIA,” “Exercise in Technical English I/Ⅱ,” and “Graduation Thesis” in Course of Media and Network Technologies, Department of Electronics and Information Engineering, School of Engineering as with undergraduate common subject and general education subject: “Computer Engineering”, “Freshman Seminar,” and “The World of Science and Technology.”
    The successful applicant may also be in charge of other lectures offered at the university. In addition to research and education, university’s operation management will partly be assigned.

    Holidays : Saturdays, Sundays, National holidays, Year-end and New Year holidays (12/29-1/3)

    Overtime and other explanations : Discretionary labor system for professional work based on the employee’s agreement (*) or Fixed working hours system
    *The working hours for a day is deemed as 7 hours and 45 minutes
