Work content and job description
(1)Undergraduate and graduate education of liberal arts;
(2)Teacher education for undergraduate and graduate students;
(3)Education and supervision for graduate students at Department of Social and Human Sciences in School of Environment and Society;
(4)Relevant cutting-edge research and contributions to society based on it;
(5)Relevant administrative works.

Annual Salary : 8 million yen ~ 11 million yen
The successful candidate will be paid under the “Annual Salary System with Lump-Sum Retirement Allowance” pursuant to the Institute’s Regulations on Wage and Salary for Staff under Annual Salary System with Lump-Sum Retirement Allowance. In accordance with the regulations, the amount of annual salary will be determined based on the standard level for the first fiscal year of employment, and will be based on performance evaluations in subsequent years. A retirement allowance will be paid separately at the time of retirement.

・Professor who has 15 years of work experience after completing a doctoral degree.
Standard: JPY 9,400,000
Minimum*: JPY 8,600,000
Maximum*: JPY 10,700,000
*The minimum and maximum amounts will vary depending on performance.

Description
The applicant should satisfy the following conditions:
(1)Ph.D. or equivalent;
(2)Ability to teach subjects related to basic understanding of education, such as “Educational Foundations”, “Introduction to Teaching Profession”, “Educational System” or “Curriculum Design and Management” in Japanese.
(3)Ability to teach “Educational Technology” or “Educational Methodology” in Japanese;
(4)Ability to teach “Teaching Practice” and “Educational Practice Seminar” by team teaching in Japanese;
(5)Great zeal and abilities for liberal arts education;
(6)Great zeal for education and supervision for graduate students;
(7)Having remarkable research results in the above specialized fields.
