Job description

  • Background of the recruitment and description of the project

    In the Department of Industrial Technology, while investigating the theory of structure and fluid engineering common to various fields such as Ship, Offshore structure, Marine equipment, Flying body, Engine, Motor, Machine, Building Construction, Basic structure, and so on, education and research are performed about basic and applied engineering technology in the complex both fields, and still more applying advanced computer technology.
    Naval Architecture Course aims to promote engineers who can design and build superior ship and offshore structure or leading experts in preserving and utilizing ocean environment by learning expertise of ship and ocean, we are recruiting a full-time faculty member who is enthusiastic about lecture, research, and student guidance, a senior candidate with a good deal of experience in the field of naval architecture and/or ocean engineering or an enthusiastic young candidate with Ph.D degree.

    Lectures and research coaching according to specialization. In Particular, candidates who can be in
    charge of research on GHG emission reduction from ship or Digital/Green Transformation (DX/GX)
    for naval architecture and ocean engineering.
    <Faculty of Engineering>
    Ocean Engineering, Ocean Energy Engineering, Ocean Resources Engineering,
    Ship / Floating Body Motions in Waves,
    Ship / Floating Body Calculation including Exercises (Ship Design III, Practice of Ship Design III),
    Engineering Fundamental Experiment of Naval Architecture, Graduation Thesis, etc.

    After the hiring is confirmed, we will discuss which subjects you will be responsible for based on your specialty.
    All lectures are to be conducted in Japanese.

    ・The salary will be decided based on the university regulations, taking into consideration work experience and research achievements.

    Holidays : Saturday,Sunday,public holidays,year-end/year-beginning,summer break,Foundation Day and other university holidays
