    This is a trial calculation for applicants with about 12 years of experience after obtaining their doctoral degree.

Working hours

  • Working hours :08:30-17:15

    Break time :12:00-13:00

    Holidays : Saturday, Sunday, national holidays, the end/beginning of the year and the anniversary of the founding of NAIST (October 1st)

    Overtime and other explanations : Discretionary labor system for professional work will be applied with the applicant's consent. *The working hours for a day are deemed as 7.75 hours.

  • Education and Degree Requirements

    Ph.D. / Doctor

    PhD degree is required at the date of hiring.

  • Work experience

    ・One who has significant scholarly achievements in one or more of the above-specified fields.
    ・One who is capable of supervising graduate students including international students and is highly motivated to promote international collaboration in the above-specified fields.
    ・One who is able to provide instructions in the education programs for innovative human resource cultivation development at NAIST.

    5 years (Reappointment to be determined by performance review. However, the maximum term possible is 5 years. )
