Background of the recruitment and description of the project
Department of Biology, Institute of Life and Environmental Sciences, University of Tsukuba, seeks an assistant professor to conduct research on comprehensively and freely handle the rapidly accumulating genome information based on the diversity of organisms, collect, cultivate, and preserve novel microorganisms living in the natural environment including marine environment, that are positioned as important future research assets and genetic resources, and use these strains to conduct vigorous research on a wide range of topics from cell functions to life principles and biodiversity with a cutting-edge genomic scientific perspective.

The interview will be done via web or face-to-face, dependent on the situation.
