Job description

  • Background of the recruitment and description of the project

    Yokohama National University aims to develop advanced hetero-integration technologies that integrate heterogeneous devices and establish a world-class research hub that will play a leadership role in the field both domestically and internationally. (A new center will be opened in Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences.)
    To establish such hub, we are seeking faculty members specializing in the field of advanced semiconductor integrated circuit design.

    Affiliation: Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences
    Responsibility: Graduate School of Engineering Science (Master’s Program/Doctoral Program), Department of Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Electronic Information System Unit.
    Innovative and Practical Studies (Master’s Program)
    Side post: Educational Program for Electrical and Computer Engineering, College of Engineering Science.

    The research field: Research fields in integrated electronics, quantum electronics, and optoelectronics, based on electronic and computer engineering

    Education:
    ・Courses, experiments, and supervision of graduation theses related to the Electrical and Computer Engineering Program in the College of Engineering Science, Department of Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
    ・Teaching and research guidance, as well as support, in the Graduate School of Engineering Science, Department of Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering.
    ・Teaching and research guidance, as well as support, in the Interfaculty Graduate School of Innovative and Practical Studies.

    Administration: Division of duties related to management and administration within the university.
