Job description

  • Background of the recruitment and description of the project

    In Yamashita Laboratory (Department of Applied Physics, Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University), we are promoting research and development of novel superconducting quantum devices. In this recruitment, we are seeking a research fellow or specially appointed assistant professor who is highly motivated to explore new quantum computer with high scalability, as part of the JST CREST project "Scalable quantum computer by fusing superconductivity, magnetism, and machinery".

    Research and development on superconducting quantum computers utilizing novel flux qubits and quantum amplifiers based on superconducting spintronics.

    Determined according to the regulations of the National University Corporation Tohoku University, taking into consideration past achievements.

Working hours

    Holidays : Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, New Year holidays (12/29 - 1/3)
