Background of the recruitment and description of the project
Tokai National Higher Education and Research System (THERS), consists of Nagoya University and Gifu University, aims to establish a regional, national, and international development and research hub in the fields where the THERS can demonstrate its strong advantages and competitiveness.
In order to expand and revitalize cutting-edge life science research on glycans promoted by the Glycobiology Core Research Institute jointly established at both universities, this recruitment will include large-scale research management, laboratory management, etc. among research management duties. We are looking for research management personnel who will plan and operate the research institute or conduct research support work.

1.Management tasks related to the research progress of the Human Glycome Atlas Project (Large-scale Academic Frontier Project) and the handling of clinical specimens
2.Research support tasks such as planning and operation of iGCORE, and intellectual property management

Education and Degree Requirements
Ph.D. / Doctor
Doctoral degree (or equivalent degree conferred overseas) or a master's degree (or equivalent degree conferred overseas) with at least 10 years of experience in the private sector. Applicants meet the following requirements:
Work experience
1. Hold a Ph.D. (or equivalent diploma conferred overseas) or has more than 10 years of experience in companies
2.Experience in clinical research or related tasks (clinical specimen management, development tasks, medical information officer (MR), regulatory affairs, monitoring, application tasks, GxP (GCP, GMP, GLP, etc.) related tasks) at universities, research institutions, or companies
3. The applicant must have sufficient English proficiency to conduct practical work. If the applicant’s native language is other than Japanese, he/she must have sufficient Japanese language proficiency (Japanese Proficiency Test N1 level).
