Job description
Background of the recruitment and description of the project
Kanazawa university has been conducting research and education of network system technologies including artificial intelligence, big data, IoT and cyber-security, and also of quantum technologies in order to contribute to the realization of Society 5.0, which is a super-smart society envisaged by Japanese government. Faculty of Electrical, Information and Communication Engineering (EIC), Institute of Science and Engineering is the core organization to accelerate the effort. Among such technologies, continuum computing architecture and/or system software such as massively parallel computing, big data infrastructure, large-scale data system, or system software in general has been considered as important technologies since data-driven systems of society 5.0 cannot be constructed without such technologies. EIC invites applications for a professor, an associate professor or a tenure track associate professor position by excellent researchers in the field of advanced continuum computing architecture and/or system software.
