Job description

  • Background of the recruitment and description of the project

    【Research areas】
    For next-generation information and telecommunications systems to achieve sustainable evolution, it is essential to create innovative devices and systems based on novel principles to realize extremely high-speed, large-capacity transmission with ultra-low power consumption that can handle a dramatic increase in the volume of information. To achieve this, it is necessary to realize ultra-broadband communication platform technologies that can freely utilize the frequency bands of electromagnetic waves ranging from light to terahertz waves, and from microwaves to baseband.

    This laboratory is seeking an applicant can advance research and education on the following topics: ultrahigh-frequency integrated devices that can generate, detect, and process wireless signals efficiently, ultrahigh-speed devices that can seamlessly link optical and wireless communications, and innovative communication and measurement systems based on these devices, mainly in the terahertz wave band.

    (2)A list of research and educational achievements, which includes original journal papers, conference papers (with refereed/non-refereed clarified), invited talks (domestic/international), tutorials, books, patents, awards, educational activities, academic society activities, past/current research grants (the amount and your role in the grant), and other achievements.     (3)Electric files of major 5 research papers, and their summary (about 100 words for each).
