  Ph.D. / Doctor

  Candidates must have a doctoral degree or are expected to have a doctoral degree by the time of their arrival.

• Work experience

  Candidates should have a working knowledge of Japanese language in order to carry out education and research. Candidates should have enough ability to perform educational and research works in English language, especially to supervise foreign students and to work for international exchange activities such as student exchange program.

  Term of employment: 5 years. The tenure candidate with significant achievements during this term will be promoted to a tenured associate professor. A tenure review may be conducted early depending on the candidate's research and educational achievements during the term. The university has mandatory retirement, requiring employees to retire at age 65.
