    This is a trial calculation for applicants hired immediately after obtaining their doctoral degree.
    Remuneration: Annual Salary Scheme (determined in accordance with NAIST Salary Regulations)
    Allowances:Commuting and housing allowances, etc. provided in accordance with NAIST Salary Regulations.

Working hours

  • Working hours :08:30-17:15

    Break time :12:00-13:00

    Holidays : Saturday, Sunday, national holidays, the end/beginning of the year and the anniversary of the founding of NAIST (October 1st)

    Overtime and other explanations : Discretionary labor system for professional work will be applied with the applicant's consent. *The working hours for a day are deemed as 7.75 hours.

  • Education and Degree Requirements

    Ph.D. / Doctor

    A person who has a PhD degree or expects to obtain one by the day of the appointment.

  • Work experience

    ・Female
    ・A person who has an excellent research record in fields related to molecular biology, molecular genetics, or cell biology, who is committed to advancing research on the molecular mechanisms of flower development in response to environmental cues, and who demonstrates enthusiasm for contributing to the progress of plant science and education. Candidates with an interest in epigenetics or plant hormone research, and with experience in imaging or omics-based research, are particularly welcome.
    ・A person who is willing to work with Professor Toshiro Ito and the other professors of Division of Biological Science, and educate graduate students, including international students, and to promote cutting-edge scientific researches.

    5 years (Reappointment to be determined by performance review.However, the maximum term possible is until March 31, 2035.)
