This position requires expertise in humanities of China (cultural anthropology, ethnology, and the related fields including history, area studies, sociology, comparative cultural studies, and material culture study, etc.) with proven research achievements based on field surveys. It is desirable that the candidate has an interest in social and cultural dynamics, in material culture and is motivated to engage in museum activities.

Annual Salary : 6 million yen ~ 7 million yen
Due to the lower bonus rate in the first year of employment, the above amount may not be met. The total amount includes various allowances. (Taxes, pension contributions, insurance premiums, etc. will be deducted from this amount.)

Selection
Interviews (tentatively scheduled in early September 2025) will be conducted following the selection of candidates based on submitted documents. The candidates will be provided with detailed information of the interviews including the date and method in due course.
