Annual Salary : 6 million yen ~
Basic annual salary and Performance-based annual salary: Associate Professor 6,758,000-7,980,000 yen
An annual salary system is applied. The amount of annual salary is determined in consideration of the person’s educational background, work experience, etc. according to the Okayama University annual salary Regulations.
The percentage of annual performance pay depends on the length of service within six months prior to the base date (June 1 and December 1), and the performance rate varies depending on the results of the evaluation.
As allowances, commuting allowance, support allowance, housing allowance, adjustment allowance, etc. will be paid separately to the applicable employees.

Working hours
Working hours :08:30-17:30
Holidays : Saturdays and Sundays, national holidays, and December 29 to January 3 (Article 42, paragraph 2 of the Personnel Work Rules)
Overtime and other explanations : If the employee agrees to the application of the discretionary work system for specialized work, working hours will be deemed as 7 hours and 45 minutes per day. Overtime work is not required in principle. Day-off work may be required. (Articles 41 and 42 of the Personnel Work Rules)

Description
(1) Applicants must have a doctoral degree or PhD in a related field.
(2) Applicants must have substantial research achievements and future promising possibilities in the field of environmental geochemistry.
(3) Applicants must have ability to promote research and education in collaboration with other members of the department.
(Preferred)
(4) The applicant with sufficient Japanese language skill is preferred.
